What you'll do Design and validate analog and mixed-signal circuits: power supplies, signal conditioning, sensing inputs, and protection Create schematics and PCB layouts in KiCad, with design for manufacturing and test in mind Design and build production and engineering test fixtures, with Python and C to automate them Bring up new boards and debug hardware and firmware issues alongside the firmware team Manage revisions, BOMs, and release files in Git, and support the contract manufacturer during builds Find and qualify replacements for obsolete or hard-to-get parts Must have 5+ years of hardware engineering, with at least one design taken from prototype to production Strong analog and mixed-signal fundamentals: op-amps, ADCs, signal conditioning, power Schematic capture and PCB layout Hardware design around microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, PIC, or similar) Working knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN Python and C, enough to write test scripts and simple fixture firmware Comfort at the bench: oscilloscope, DMM, logic analyzer, fine-pitch soldering and rework Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Nice to have Rugged or automotive design: 12/24 V vehicle power, load dump, reverse polarity, vibration, sealing Git for hardware projects Wireless module integration (BLE, Wi-Fi, 900 MHz, cellular) Cable and wiring harness design Certification experience (UL, FCC, CE, MSHA) Working under ISO 9001 or a similar quality system You'll do well here if you own projects end to end, like moving between design, lab work and the production floor, and write down what you learned so the next person doesn't have to relearn it.
