Overview Join our innovative team as a Hardware Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge electronic systems. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work on complex projects involving FPGA, PCB, SoC, and electrical system design, all while contributing to the advancement of technology in a fast-paced environment. Duties Design and develop electrical schematics and circuit layouts using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks. Create detailed PCB layouts and oversee manufacturing processes ensuring adherence to electrical engineering standards and NEC compliance. Develop FPGA-based solutions utilizing SystemVerilog, VHDL, or similar hardware description languages for programmable logic controllers and control systems. Conduct engineering testing, debugging, and root cause analysis on hardware prototypes to ensure reliability and performance. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on system design verification using simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE. Perform signal processing tasks and integrate communications systems expertise into product development. Support manufacturing by providing technical guidance on surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and electrical system integration. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees preferred. Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on electronics design and system development. Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation), simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink), and schematic capture tools. Hands-on experience with FPGA development using SystemVerilog or VHDL; familiarity with ARM architecture and firmware programming in C++ or Python. Knowledge of electrical building codes (NFPA 70 compliance), electronics troubleshooting, and industrial automation standards. Skilled in PCB design including surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and circuit debugging with tools such as ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge related to mechanical engineering principles for integrated hardware solutions; experience with Revit or SolidWorks is advantageous. Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines. $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
