Job Description

FPGA Engineer - 37319 Cincinnati, Ohio Direct Hire Opportunity Salary Plus Benefits Onsite Only US Citizenship required Relocation Assistance Available As a Hardware Engineer at our company, you will play a key role in the architecture, design, and development of cutting-edge Electronic Safe and Arm Devices using the latest technological advancements. Our projects will involve
ASIC/FPGA
designs for sensor interfaces, sequence verification, communication protocols, and more, all vital components of Electronic Safe and Arm Devices for DOD weapon systems. We utilize Microsemi/Actel FPGAs and QuestaSim simulation tool for our work. Your main responsibilities will include Verilog FPGA design, System Verilog UVM verification, and C# microcontroller development.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, defining architectures, designing and debugging FPGA and hardware products, and developing firmware. You will work on Verilog HDL for Antifuse and enhanced Flash FPGAs, analyze functional issues, and contribute to process improvements for quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 4 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Proficiency in Verilog for Logic Design and programming experience in C for embedded systems are required. Experience with lab tools like Logic Analyzers and oscilloscopes is also important.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledge of System Verilog for verification with AVM, VMM, OVM, or UVM is a plus. Experience in developing C# source code for enhanced Flash Microcontrollers will be beneficial.
