This position reports to:
Senior Project Engineering Manager __ In this role, you will support electrical sustaining engineering activities for instrumentation and analytical products. You will contribute to product improvements, design support, and cross-functional engineering projects while applying design-for-excellence and engineering best practices. The work model for the role is: Onsite in Bartlesville, OK. #LI-Onsite Your role and responsibilities: Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects. Performing design verification in accordance with applicable standards and internal engineering guidelines. Supporting compliance with UL, CSA, ATEX, IEC, RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and other applicable standards. Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering ( or equivalent ) required 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, hardware design, sustaining engineering, or related fields. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.Preferred qualifications:
Experience with electrical hardware, PCBAs, electronic components, and cabling. Experience with OrCAD, Altium, Windchill PLM, and Microsoft Office 365. Knowledge of electrical design principles, PCBA design, and product lifecycle management. Familiarity with industry standards such as UL, CSA, ATEX, IEC, RoHS, REACH, and PFAS compliance.
