Hardware Engineer

Hardware Engineer Description The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis of system specification and decompose into test requirements. The engineer will be responsible for the test software development and trouble shooting of PCB. The engineer will be responsible for the design of cable harness. The engineer will be responsible for creating Onboard electrical schematic for a system. The engineer will be the primary technical interface to the Onboard Lead and Work package leader throughout the life-cycle of the project and will act as technical liaison relative to the Mechanical group. Skills & Qualifications 3-5+ years' experience Hardware Engineer with experience in PCB/electronic schematic development Experience in Designing, debugging and testing PCBs. Experience with identifying and solving hardware issues. Experience creating electrical schematic for boards Experience creating cable harness Experience with integration of cabling with mechanical rack Good communication skills, the ability to work well with others, self motiavting and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Participates as a team member throughout the requirement, design, implementation and verification phase of the project life cycle. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
