As a Project Engineer I, here at Honeywell, you will monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and mitigate risks. Your coordination with stakeholders will enhance transparency and foster collaboration. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ and/ or Aguadilla, PR location on a Hybrid work schedule. Be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Control Systems Motion Control products. You will work closely with engineering and project management leadership, and members of the Hardware Management team managing hardware within supporting New Product Development (NPD) and Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP). Responsibilities Honeywell's SAP system is one of the primary tools used for Hardware Management and working knowledge and experience within the SAP system is a key responsibility. Supporting NPD projects requiring NPD hardware and/or LRIP hardware to meet project hardware deliverables at the Honeywell sites. Coordinate between the Hardware Management team and NPD project team (internal customer) on hardware cost, schedule, milestone, and risk development and management. Internal and external customer and supplier communication on the NPD project hardware status. Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Control Account Management (CAM) of hardware resources associated with the project - Hardware cost estimating, forecasting, reporting. Demand planning / entry / Inter-Divisional Order (IDO) demand Status updates / reports Hardware milestone tracking / fidelity reporting / analysis / line of balance estimates Hardware milestone definition Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development for hardware Manpower Allocation Tool (MAT) data analysis / evaluation / updates QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, business, or mathematics. SAP knowledge and practical experience. Selected individual may reside at either the Honeywell Tempe, AZ or Honeywell Aguadilla Puerto Rico site.WE VALUE
Gateway between project engineering, ISC, design and other functions. Drive hardware planning and tracking. Team building and collaboration. Basic understanding and learning the product technology. Ability to create specific action plans, prioritize time, and resources effectively. Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events. Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience. Project management skills, performance. and execution. Basic understanding of supply chain management and logistics. Proficiency with Excel is a plus.
