Job Description

Core Responsibilities Firmware Development:
Design, code, and debug low-level software in C for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, ESP32, or STM32) and microprocessors.
RTOS Integration:
Develop and optimize multi-threaded applications using RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or Micrium) to ensure deterministic system behavior and efficient resource management.
Hardware Design:
Lead the end-to-end PCB design process, including schematic capture, component selection, multi-layer layout, and signal integrity analysis.
System Architecture:
Define technical specifications and architectural trade-offs between hardware constraints and software performance.
Prototyping & Testing:
Perform board bring-up, utilize oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for hardware debugging, and execute unit testing for firmware modules.
Lifecycle Management:
Support the transition from prototype to mass production, including DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and EMI/EMC compliance testing. Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a deep specialization in embedded systems to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between hardware and software, possessing a rigorous foundation in C programming , extensive experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) , and a proven track record in full-cycle PCB design .

Technical Requirements Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Programming Mastery:
Expert-level proficiency in C (specifically for embedded environments) and familiarity C++ for tooling and scripting.
RTOS Expertise:
Strong understanding of scheduling, semaphores, mutexes, and interrupt service routines (ISRs) within a real-time environment.
Hardware Knowledge:
Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management, and sensor integration. Preferred Qualifications Experience with wireless protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, or LoRaWAN). Knowledge of industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO 13485 for medical, automotive SPICE, or
IEC 61508
). Experience with FPGA (Verilog/VHDL) or DSP implementation is a plus. CMS and FreeRTOS experience preferred.
Pay:
$74,779.62 - $90,057.17 per year
