Job Description

Job Title:
Hardware Engineer - U.S. citizenship is required for this position Job Description The Hardware Engineer will play a vital role in supporting the network and server production of AI servers. This position involves setting up hardware testing and debugging environments, identifying hardware engineering issues, and collaborating with headquarters teams and vendors to ensure timely product delivery. The engineer will contribute to the design validation, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware products across platforms such as servers, networking equipment, and personal computing devices. This role encompasses independent execution of verification and scale testing procedures, conducting in-depth failure analyses, and providing actionable insights to improve product reliability, manufacturability, and quality. Responsibilities Configure and maintain test stations for product validation, defining appropriate hardware, software, and procedures. Execute and refine test cases to assess performance, functionality, and scalability, identifying inconsistencies and recommending design or process adjustments. Investigate hardware failures during development or production, identifying root causes, proposing solutions, and supporting corrective action implementation. Participate in product transfer activities from R D to manufacturing, translating engineering specifications into operational guidance, and supporting ramp-up through documentation, feedback, and troubleshooting. Produce detailed reports on test outcomes, debug findings, and engineering support activities, maintaining thorough documentation for traceability and future reference. Provide hands-on support for cross-functional teams by addressing hardware-related issues during testing, pilot builds, or production runs. Essential Skills Solid and practical foundation in electronics and hardware system integration. Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related Working knowledge of server systems, including hardware components and diagnostic procedures. Familiarity with hardware such as network switches, power distribution systems, and personal computing devices. Understanding of computer hardware architecture, including experience with PCI-e, USB, and system buses. Proficiency with test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), and soldering/rework equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with or troubleshooting hardware systems. Capability to assist in hardware integration or troubleshooting. Work Environment The role involves working within a dedicated team of 20-30 individuals serving the Amazon project. The work environment is collaborative, focusing on delivering high-quality AI server solutions. The job offers relocation assistance and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI servers.
