You'll lead detailed hardware and software test equipment design, drive integration and verification, and solve complex technical challenges in a collaborative environment. - Design, update, and integrate hardware and software for new and existing missile test sets.
- Develop and maintain interface test adapters (ITAs) and ensure effective equipment interfacing.
- Create detailed flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, and interface control documents.
- Draft and review test requirements, test descriptions, operating instructions, and installation procedures.
- Participate in peer reviews, design assurance, and verification readiness reviews.
- Troubleshoot analog and digital electronics, supporting root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Communicate progress and critical issues proactively with technical leads and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and requirements.
- Support configuration management for hardware and software.
- Travel occasionally to production, supplier, and customer sites as required. [Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in test engineering for complex systems.
- Expertise in troubleshooting analog and digital electronics.
- Proficient in test equipment hardware: oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMM, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, AC/DC power distribution.
- Experience with ITA and cable design.
- Skilled in test software design and software debugging.
- Familiarity with LabVIEW/Test Stand.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Visio, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
- Strong background in root cause analysis, corrective action, and configuration management.
- Active interim or secret security clearance (required prior to start).
