Position Summary The CAM Engineer (CE) is responsible for processing and converting customer-supplied PCB data into manufacturing-ready formats using CAD/CAM software. This role includes design-for-manufacturing (DFM) review, panelization, test coupon design, and data optimization for yield improvement. This position does not involve circuit design or PCB layout but requires a strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and work instructions to generate manufacturing tooling data Input, validate, and convert customer data files Review DFM reports and make corrections to ensure manufacturability Develop rout programs, including sequencing and toolpath creation Perform drill analysis, tool selection, and layer separation Generate test coupons for process validation Create additional manufacturing programs (e.g., drill stencils, plating masks, depth milling) Panelize PCB designs for efficient production Generate and validate output files (Electrical Test, Drill, Rout, AOI, Direct Imaging, etc.) Ensure accuracy and quality of all work outputs Evaluate manufacturability and resolve technical issues Approve and sign off on documentation Self-inspect work and escalate unresolved issues to management Maintain organized data on network drives Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Perform additional duties as assigned Critical Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and processes Proficiency with Windows-based systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Solid foundation in algebra and trigonometry Positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality Preferred Experience Experience with
