Role:

Responsible for design, analysis, documentation, verification, and test of analog and power electronics hardware for space applications including power conversion, distribution, and storage. Work on the full lifecycle design for related flight analog electronics in high reliability systems for space applications; define requirements, write specifications, perform analysis and implement designs from concept to hardware; lead and work with team of engineers. Interface with customers, and compile and present data to justify design. Support design for motor and mechanism control.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

Responsible for design, test, and delivery of printed circuit boards; complete worst case circuit analysis and other analysis necessary to justify related analog/power electronics. Travel is required in order to provide field support at customer facilities. Will work on full PCB life cycle including providing direction to PCB designers and/or manufacturers, and working within an integrated project team with other disciplines such as packaging, parts, reliability, production and quality assurance.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelors or a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering degree field. 0-3 years: Power Systems Development. 0-3 years: Circuit Design, with emphasis on power electronics and/or analog design. A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Requirements:

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
