Job Description
Description As an Electrical Hardware Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for end-to-end hardware development lifecycle across design, validation, and manufacturing for flight-critical avionics systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams
- including propulsion, structures, firmware, software, safety, certification, production
- to meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.
- including flight computers, air data sensors, cameras, radars, lighting systems, and electrical wiring interconnect systems
- at Amazon's delivery scale. Basic Qualifications
- Experience with prototyping and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Experience in root cause analysis and error correction, identifying changes to procedures and systems to implement long-term fixes and avoid repeating issues
- Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or experience with modern
ASIC/FPGA
design and verification tools Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Experience with product level validation testing (Thermal, EMC/EMI, Shock, Cycle Testing, etc.)
- 5+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience
- Experience in reliability engineering, including accelerated life testing, failure rate modeling, and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
