Job:
Hardware Development Engineer II Location:
Milwaukee, WI (Onsite)
Duration:
12 Months Contract Onsite Key Responsibilities Collaborate within an Agile development team to design and develop industrial automation products. Participate in system architecture, circuit design, hardware integration, and verification activities. Program, analyze, troubleshoot, and debug electronic hardware prototypes. Create and maintain design documentation, test plans, and verification reports. Research and evaluate emerging technologies for future product development. Support implementation of design automation, test automation, and simulation solutions. Work cross-functionally with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in hardware product development. Experience using electronic design capture tools and the ability to read and interpret schematics. Strong understanding of circuit theory and electronic system operation. Experience with at least one of the following: Microprocessors Digital logic devices Analog circuitry DC power conversion CPLDs/FPGAs Ethernet technologies Wireless technologies Hands-on experience using hardware test and debug equipment, including: Oscilloscopes Logic analyzers Debuggers Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Programming experience with Python and/or C++. Experience developing automated test applications. Experience working in an Agile or Scaled Agile environment. Familiarity with industry compliance standards, including:
IEC 61508
(Functional Safety)
IEC 61000
(EMC Standards) Other electronics industry compliance standards Growth mindset with a desire
Pay:
$48.00 - $50.00 per hour
