Job Description
Develop and design fire protection systems utilizing clean agent, CO2, sprinkler, or foam type systems.
Core Competencies:
Ø Proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D, P&ID, & Spec Editor. Ø Position will be heavy in the development of custom piping specifications, catalogues, and configuration files. Ø The engineer must be capable of routing piping, creating P&IDs, Orthographic, and Isometric drawings under direction of a project manager. Ø The engineer should also have a general knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor for model assembly and drawing creation.Personality traits:
Ø Must have self-drive and be disciplined to work independently. Employee will be held accountable for their performance Ø Should have strong engineering & interpretive skills Ø Linguistic proficiency with English language should be good Ø Should have a pleasing personality and be a good team player Summary As a Fire Protection Sprinkler Designer/Engineer, you will be integral to designing and implementing effective fire protection systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will utilize your core skills in AutoCAD and mechanical design to create detailed schematics and system layouts. Your premium expertise in software such as Revit and GD&T will enhance your designs, ensuring compliance with ASME codes and standards. Additionally, your relevant skills in construction and technical writing will support project documentation and collaboration with construction teams, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our projects. Responsibilities Design and develop fire protection sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and other CAD software. Create detailed schematics and mechanical designs to ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards. Collaborate with construction teams to assemble and implement systems effectively. Conduct technical writing to document designs and specifications. Review and revise designs based on project requirements and feedback. Utilize premium software tools like Revit and Bluebeam for enhanced design accuracy.Job Type:
