Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
- The EHS Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs within the organization to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and promote a safe, sustainable workplace.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and waste management regulation (RCRA) by staying current on new and changing EHS regulations, best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- + Knowledge of federal, state and local EHS regulations. + Ability to perform risk assessments. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Proficient in managing projects. + Strong problem-solving skills. + CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) - preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- + Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field. + 4 - 7 Years of relatable experience in EHS program development, safety management, and implementation. This role will be based at either our Las Vegas, NV or Indianapolis, IN Polymer Center.
Pay Range:
- The pay range for this position is $95,400.00 to $131,100.00
- which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.
