As our Life Safety team continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Junior Life Safety Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer early in their career who is interested in Fire Protection & Fire Alarm systems and eager to learn through hands-on project experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering Support Assist in the design and layout of fire protection systems (sprinklers, standpipes, fire pumps) and fire alarm systems for various building types. Support preparation of life safety and code compliance drawings, diagrams, and narratives. Perform or assist with hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing. Develop drawings, details, and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD. Codes & Compliance Review and interpret applicable building and fire codes, including NFPA standards and local amendments. Project Coordination & Documentation Participate in coordination with internal MEP disciplines and external consultants. Assist with submittal reviews, RFIs, and construction administration tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field (or equivalent practical experience). 2 - 7 years of experience in life safety, fire protection, fire alarm design, or related AEC roles. Working knowledge of Revit & AutoCAD. Familiarity with fire and life safety codes (NFPA, IBC, etc.) is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment.
