Job Description

Breaking into data center work usually requires data center experience you do not have yet. Our client is willing to train the right engineer, which makes this a rare opportunity. Our client is an established, independently owned MEP engineering firm with a dedicated fire protection group and a busy data center practice. The department head has been with the firm for decades. The pipeline is deep and the firm is stable. This position is hybrid (3 days in office), based in the Boston area.
What you would be doing:
Run your own fire protection projects from design through construction administration Work directly with clients Work with a strong group of fire protection engineers as part of the mission critical team.
What we are looking for:
10 or more years of fire protection design experience at a consulting engineering firm Depth in suppression and alarm design Data Center experience is a plus, but they are willing to train.
