Description:

Home of the F-35 Lightning II, located at Lockheed Aeronautics Fort Worth, Texas, this position will support the Airforce Plant 4 Delivery Operations teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead safety and risk management efforts in a high-tempo aviation environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory, company, and military safety standards while supporting aircraft operations and ground support activities. The selected candidate will directly interface with government and senior production representatives in metric reviews, incident investigations, process improvements, and support operations. In addition, the candidate will support the Safety Management System and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering) Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and be flexible to a changing work environment Experience with OSHA, incident management / accident investigation, and root cause analysis

Desired Skills:

Prior experience in heavy manufacturing or aerospace industry Experience working on and around an active aircraft flightline and working within a represented employee environment Masters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering) possession of a recognized EHS credential like ASP/CSP Familiarity with
