Job Description:
Position Overview We are seeking a Process Engineer with a strong industrial or manufacturing engineering background to support and improve production processes within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will focus on optimizing safety, quality, throughput, and cost, with a preference for candidates who have experience working with aluminum processing or aluminum manufacturing operations . The Process Engineer will work cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support plant performance objectives. Key Responsibilities Analyze, design, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and industrial engineering methodologies Develop and maintain standard work, process documentation, and work instructions Identify process bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions to improve throughput and yield Support new product introductions, process changes, and capital projects Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reliability Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards Provide technical support and training to production teams as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 2-7+ years of process or manufacturing engineering experience in an industrial environment Aluminum processing or aluminum manufacturing experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools Experience with time studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, and process optimization Ability to analyze data and develop practical, sustainable solutions Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Experience Aluminum extrusion, rolling, casting, or finishing operations High-volume or continuous manufacturing environments Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) ERP/MES systems and manufacturing data analysis tools Compensation & Benefits Base salary $70,000 - $100,000 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Client covers all preventative medical treatments Relocation assistance provided Competitive PTO and paid holidays Retirement plan options Why Join Us Stable manufacturing operation with long-term growth opportunities Relocation-supported opportunity in Northeast Arkansas Ability to make a direct, visible impact on operational performance Supportive, safety-focused culture Senior Project Manager Julie Hess LaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
