Job Description

Description Value Added/Ground Beef Case Ready Engineer:
Lead, support and direct the Engineering & Maintenance execution activities in JBS Tolleson Case Ready Division. Responsible for the leadership, management and development of 2 Case Ready Maintenance Managers to further develop supervisors and hourly team members. Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing processes and facilities to improve all plant metrics. Recommend, scope, plan, design, develop and execute capital projects. Develop the Engineering Organization through recruitment and team member development on fundamental engineering principles, with utilization of existing maintenance Dupont training program Develop and lead the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Plans for the case ready division including Business Opportunity, Essential, Equipment and Infrastructure projects Align with Corporate Engineering to ensure standardization and best practice sharing Partner with all functional plant managers (Operations, Finance, Procurement, Logistics) to accomplish Plant KPI's Support the facility with technical leadership and facilitation of Root Cause Analysis, Focused Improvement and FMEA (Failure Modes Effects Analysis) Ensure that all projects are completed with proper technical documentation, training, spare parts lists and support contacts based on FMEA and plant input. Develop and use standard project turnover and close out check lists Partner with Plant Safety teams (Environmental Health and Safety) on safety and ergonomic requirements to all equipment and layouts Leverage standardization and Reliability Centered Maintenance principles to support operational success of the plant Communicate effectively both internally and with pertinent corporate team members on daily basis May perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership in an Engineering environment Experience in the Food Processing is a plus Engineering degree Preferred At least 5 years of Engineering and Maintenance Management Strong Technical Skills and knowledge of current technical applications Strong Maintenance Background including equipment, planning tools and advanced TPM and RCM skills Basic Microsoft Office® Product Skills. Basic AutoCAD® skill Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Ability to prepare detailed planning documents including long-range planning and milestones Strong verbal and written communication skills.
