Operations and Regulatory Manager Position Summary :
The Labeling Specialist is responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining labeling and packaging art files throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for US distribution. The role includes designing and formatting labels for new and existing products, adhering to regulatory guidelines and the Corporate Brand Strategy. Additionally, the Labeling Specialist manages the approval and tracking of labeling requests to maintain compliance and streamline processes.

Role Responsibilities :
Coordinate with Regulatory Specialists, Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, SDS Coordinators, and Packaging Engineers to ensure timely availability of packaging for manufacturing plants. Create California Printer's Proofs for Regulatory Specialist submissions. Design detailed packaging for single or multilingual labeling using Adobe InDesign, ensuring regulatory compliance. Verify transportation regulations with the Packaging Engineer to ensure packaging meets all necessary standards. Collaborate with Supply Chain Procurement to determine packaging suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, optimal pricing, and quality standards. Work cross-functionally to resolve any labeling inconsistencies with packaging materials. Complete Hazmat Training to ensure proper handling and shipping of hazardous materials. Manage multiple concurrent deadlines and maintain version control of label files and Bar Codes in the database.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required. Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) knowledge preferred. Hazmat certification required after hire.
Experience / Skills
/
Abilities :
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with Windows applications and Outlook required. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under deadlines. Understanding of US and international labeling regulations (CLP/GHS) and hazardous transportation standards (ADR, IATA, IMDG) preferred. Experience in the agrochemical or chemical industry is advantageous. Bilingual (English/Spanish , French or Italian) skills are a plus. Job Expectations /

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively. Team-focused with strong communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Occasional travel required, approximately 10% of the time. Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer for long hours. This role is key to ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements, maintaining quality, and supporting the company's branding efforts in both domestic and international markets.
