Process Engineer Job Description The Process Sustaining Engineer supports manufacturing operations through hands-on troubleshooting, equipment support, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on maintaining process stability, improving equipment performance, and supporting production in a regulated manufacturing environment. The Engineer works cross-functionally to identify and resolve electromechanical issues, support process optimization, and ensure accurate documentation of all activities. Candidates must be comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing production needs. Responsibilities Support manufacturing operations through hands-on troubleshooting and equipment support. Maintain process stability and improve equipment performance. Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve electromechanical issues. Support process optimization initiatives. Ensure accurate documentation of all activities. Adapt to changing production needs and manage multiple priorities. Essential Skills Process improvement Electromechanical troubleshooting experience Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong documentation skills Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in mechanical assembly Electrical troubleshooting Automation system interfacing Work Environment The work environment involves hands-on engineering roles within a regulated manufacturing setting. Engineers are expected to perform electromechanical troubleshooting and support equipment maintenance. Entry-level candidates can be trained, but prior experience in relevant fields is beneficial. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
