job summary: Our client, a leader in interconnect solutions, is looking for an industrial engineer for their Milpitas, CA location. Key qualifications include 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, optimizing manufacturing efficiency and layout planningor a relevant position. AutoCAD 2D knowledge is required. Process Optimization & CI:

Drive continuous improvement across all production areas (automated lines, box build, etc.) to eliminate waste and optimize operational efficiency.

Time Study & Line Balancing:

Conduct formal time studies (for both direct and non-direct labor) and perform line balancing to optimize production flow, cycle times, and resource allocation.

Capacity & Efficiency Planning:

Calculate and track production efficiency metrics; perform direct labor and capacity planning; and utilize simulation tools (e.g., FlexSim) to predict future performance.

System & Data Management:

Implement and maintain industrial engineering systems, processes, and documentation to ensure all underlying data is current and accurate.

Facility Layout & Design:

Create and modify production area layouts and proposals using AutoCAD 2D to support facilities planning (including automated lines, TLA, and PCB areas). #randstadengineering qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 5 years of experience
