$95,000 - $140,000 per year Job Details - We are looking for a dynamic, skilled, and experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our high-performing manufacturing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on refrigeration technology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and production of our refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of 3D and 2D CAD, Controls Integration, Design Validation, Refrigerants, and HVAC/R systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical refrigeration components, equipment, and machinery. 2. Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as refrigerators, air conditioners, and other refrigeration systems. 3. Conduct thermal analysis, heat load calculations, and compressor selection. 4. Ensure all designs and products adhere to UL Compliance and other regulatory compliances. 5. Use 2D and 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks and Creo, to create blueprints and schematics for systems. 6. Collaborate with other engineers and departments to improve the functionality and efficiency of our products. 7. Troubleshoot and solve issues related to refrigeration systems. 8. Provide technical support to the production team and clients when necessary. 9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in refrigeration technology and integrate new findings into the work.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field is a plus. We will also consider applicants with work history in the industry who have pursued technical certifications relevant to HVAC/R production. Please note this is not a building maintenance role. 2. 2 to 7 years of experience in a similar production/manufacturing-focused role. 3. Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD, SolidWorks, and Creo. 4. Extensive experience in Controls Integration, Design Validation, and HVAC/R systems. 5. Solid understanding of refrigerants and refrigerant system design. 6. Experience in thermal analysis, heat load calculations, and compressor selection. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 9. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
