Compliance Engineer Location:
Thousand Oaks, CA (on-site)
Annual Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000We are looking for a Compliance Engineer to support the design, testing, and certification of our electronic products. In this role, you will help ensure our products meet UL, CE, TUV, and other safety and regulatory standards. You will review designs, perform compliance testing, work with outside labs, and support the release of safe and reliable products.

Key ResponsibilitiesReview BOMs, electrical schematics, and PCB layouts to ensure compliance with agency requirementsCoordinate with third party agencies and external labs to meet certification schedulesPerform compliance tests including temperature, Hi Pot, and EMC measurements and prepare test reportsReview regulatory documentation associated with company productsTravel to external labs to support certification testing activitiesSupport design teams with compliance related feedback and recommendationsRequired QualificationsBS degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in design, testing, or compliance of industrial electronicsExperience reviewing BOMs, schematics, and PCB layoutsHands on experience performing compliance tests temperature, Hi Pot, EMC, etcFamiliarity with UL, CE, TUV, and related regulatory frameworksUnderstanding of electrical circuits, component behavior, and parasitic interactionsKnowledge of EMI and EMC suppression techniques across control and power electronicsExperience with regulatory standards such as
UL IEC 61800 5 1, EN 61000 6, IEC
61508Experience with
UL IEC 60601
for medical devicesExperience with servo drive design, testing, or certification
