Job Description

Job Description An Industrial Engineering company specializing in mechanical and control systems commissioning and decommissioning is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team in Aurora, CO. As a Controls Engineer, you will design control systems for conveyors for various clients within logistics, manufacturing, and air travel industries. You will be responsible for the design of industrial control panels using AutoCAD to be built by the panel shop. Additionally, responsibilities include commissioning PLCs and HMIs, including VFD's and graphical touchscreens. You will work with AutoCAD, Rockwell Software, Allen-Bradley hardware, and network design. This is a 6 Month Contract to Hire (will go permanent after 6 months with room for advancement). A federal background check and drug test are required upon an offer being extended. The company is well established and continually growing in a recession proof industry. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's Degree heavily preferred 3+ years AutoCAD (or similar) design experience for industrial control panels 2+ years hands-on engineering experience troubleshooting and commissioning industrial conveyer, material handling, or similar equipment 1+ years' experience writing and performing modifications with Ladder Logic Experience with conveyor systems Experience programming PLC and HMI from concept to completion (canned logic is ok if involved as a systems integrator) Rockwell Automation - RS Logix 5000, RS Factory Talk View (Graphics package)
