Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a (Supplier) Quality Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Holt, Michigan. The Supplier Quality Engineer will serve as the primary Quality Liaison for their offshore vendor supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing quality, producibility and business processes. In this role, you will maintain alignment with the value stream and key stakeholders.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Lead mechanical design of ancillary systems including fuel forwarding, lube oil, cooling/ventilation, starting air/gas, water wash, and auxiliary piping.
- Identify producibility improvement opportunities and lead initiatives through stakeholder alignment.
- Develop business cases to justify improvement efforts and prioritize corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive specification and QAD updates to improve manufacturing yield and ensure regulatory and customer compliance.
- Collaborate with CIPT and ESTO teams to evaluate PWMS deviations, establish feasibility, and track implementation milestones.
- Identify process gaps and advocate for digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and quality outcomes.

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree
- Experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering environments.
- Strong background in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and
ISO 9001
Quality Management Systems.- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement training.
- Ability to navigate technical requirement flowdowns and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
