Summary:
This role is responsible in providing day-to-day engineering support for the business unit by creating, maintaing, troubleshooting and improving process and product improvements.Essential Functions:
Provide technical assistance to business unit when technical and/or quality problems arise in production/experimental runs. Manages assigned process/manufacturing optimization projects of minor to moderate size by creating necessary documentation, writing up results and making recommendations. Support the monitoring and maintenance of equipment and processes to ensure uptime and safe use for manufacturing. Train, mentor and coach team members as needed. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education 4+ years of engineering or technical experience Experience in continuous improvement, problem solving experience, and/or experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools Hands-on material testing experienceAdditional Qualification Details:
