$129,293 - $152,700 annually
JOB DESCRIPTION
Review suppliers' technical abilities to manufacture materials and components, and keep a close eye on their manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement efforts. Manage the Production Part Approval Process for new and updated parts, working with suppliers and our internal teams including R D and Design Assurance, to ensure everything meets our fit, form, function, and reliability standards. Work with departments like Post Market Surveillance to address complaints linked to supplier products and handle any nonconformities by coordinating containment and disposition of affected materials, such as returns or rework. Assist with the management of supplier participation in quality programs and keep detailed records of supplier performance and certifications. Support audits as a subject matter expert, update supplier status in our ERP system, and participate in meetings and training sessions. Coordinate changes in specifications or procedures as needed, generate reports and metrics on supplier performance, and take part in supplier review meetings. 25%-30% domestic travel required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Experience must include three (3) years with the following: 1) Supplier Quality & PPAP Expertise; 2) Quality Assurance in a
Regulated Industry:
Medical Device or Related; 3) Supplier Audits & Corrective Action Management; 4) Technical Knowledge of Electronics & Metal Manufacturing; and 5) Supply Chain Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration. Background checks may be required.
