Job Title:

Process/Production Engineer Job Description The Process/Production Engineer plays a key role in the engineering team by designing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes from concept through production. This position focuses on using SolidWorks and other CAD tools to model components, nest parts for CNC cutting, and manage material utilization to support efficient and cost-effective production. The engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to streamline production workflows, maintain high quality standards, and ensure that engineering solutions align with relevant industry regulations and best practices. Responsibilities

+ Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.

+ Use SolidWorks and other CAD tools to create detailed component models and production drawings.

+ Nest parts for CNC cutting to maximize material utilization and minimize waste.

+ Manage material usage by analyzing requirements, tracking consumption, and recommending improvements to reduce costs.

+ Perform general engineering responsibilities, including technical analysis, documentation, and continuous process improvement.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in production, quality, and engineering to ensure smooth and efficient production workflows.

+ Apply relevant industry standards and regulations to engineering designs and production processes.

+ Utilize production control principles to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.

+ Prepare and maintain accurate engineering and production documentation using PC and Microsoft Office tools.

+ Troubleshoot process and production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality output. Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred. + 2+ years of proven experience in production or industrial engineering.

+ Strong technical expertise in a specific area of engineering, such as software, mechanical, or electrical.

+ Hands-on experience with SolidWorks for component modeling and design.

+ Familiarity with CAD software used in engineering and production environments.

+ Knowledge of production control and manufacturing processes.

+ Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations applicable to engineering and production.

+ Proficiency with PC usage and Microsoft Office applications for documentation, analysis, and communication. Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in engineering and production.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and improving manufacturing processes.

Work Environment The Process/Production Engineer works in a Monday-Friday schedule within a production-focused environment that combines engineering office work with close interaction on the manufacturing floor. The role involves regular use of CAD tools such as SolidWorks, PC-based applications, and Microsoft Office to support design, documentation, and process analysis. The engineer collaborates with production and engineering teams in a setting that emphasizes efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards and regulations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bartow, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
