Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Industrial Engineer II for a Contract with a client in Saint Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate with experience designing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing systems to drive productivity, cost reduction, quality, and operational efficiency.

Shift Rate Range:
$34/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Industrial Engineer II Job Responsibilities include: Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, production systems, and workflow improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Conduct time studies, work measurements, and process analysis to establish labor standards and maintain the Industrial Engineering Database (IEDB). Analyze manufacturing metrics and operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, waste reduction, and process standardization. Support facility layouts, equipment planning, and production area modifications to improve material flow, capacity utilization, and operational performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support capital projects, process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and manufacturing system enhancements. Monitor SAP and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) configurations, ensure data accuracy, and provide engineering support for quoting, planning, and production activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 2+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong experience with industrial engineering tools and methodologies, including time studies, process mapping, workstation design, facility layouts, and continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in data analysis, SAP/MES systems, and process optimization, with a proven ability to drive cost reduction, productivity improvements, and operational efficiency. Pay Details:
