Job Description
Your Job As a Machine Specialist - Brazing Operations, you will play a critical role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our brazing equipment. You will partner closely with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to optimize machine uptime, support production goals, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
Shift Available:
2nd shift- Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This role is eligible for a 2k sign on bonus for external candidates only. Our Team You will join a collaborative manufacturing team focused on delivering high-quality products in a safe and efficient environment. This role works cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to improve equipment performance, solve operational challenges, and support ongoing process improvements. What You Will Do- Own the performance and reliability of brazing equipment to support production, quality, and safety goals
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational excellence
- Partner with Maintenance and Engineering teams to identify root causes and improve long-term equipment performance
- Support production teams by optimizing machine availability and ensuring efficient changeovers and startup activities
- Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, equipment reliability, and standard work practices
- Contribute to quality initiatives by supporting corrective actions and maintaining process control standards
- Promote a safe, organized work environment by championing safety expectations and 5S principles Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience setting up and operating automated manufacturing or production equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and performing equipment adjustments, preventative maintenance activities, or minor repairs
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Experience utilizing computers for documenting production activities What Will Put You Ahead
- Brazing, soldering, annealing, plating, or similar manufacturing experience
- Experience working with vision systems, sensors, automated feeders, or comparable automation technologies
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and equipment reliability principles
- Experience using SAP, MII, or other manufacturing systems
