JOB SUMMARY
: Join our team as a Supplier Quality Analyst and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of the materials and components that make our products. In this dynamic, cross-functional role, you'll partner with suppliers and internal teams to solve quality challenges, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen supply chain performance. QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or related field 2-5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or quality assurance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, FMEA, SPC) Experience working with metals and/or plastics preferred Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence external partners
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & TASKS
Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance for raw materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, copper, plastics) and purchased components. Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for supplier-related quality issues. Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to qualify new suppliers and materials. Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance reviews. Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics, scorecards, and reporting dashboards. Support incoming inspection strategies, including inspection plans and sampling methods. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers to reduce defects, variability, and cost of poor quality. Ensure suppliers meet company specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Travel:
Position will require travel of at least 25%.
