Job Description

Supply Chain Industrial Engineering position will work directly with our partner and will be responsible for our processes and procedures, engineered labor standards, continuous improvement, data analytics, and project management. This position will be responsible for the development, testing, change management, and execution of the all the key engineering and continuous improvement focus areas. The individual for this position must have strong foundations in all IE principles and must understand general distribution processes and operations. The individual for this position will also serve as a change agent with our operations partners and must be able to drive the execution of our process and procedures. Processes and Procedures Develop, implement, and maintain preferred methods and standard operating procedures for all warehouse functions.

Evaluate current processes and procedures through process mapping to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Training and coaching exempt leadership around new methods or compliance and opportunities around current processes, methods, and procedures.

Engineering Labor Standards & Labor Management Systems

Development and maintenance of engineered labor standards through predetermined systems such as MOST, MTM, MSD, etc.

Conduct time studies and analyze time study data.

Maintain labor management system layouts, setup, and standards

Training and coaching of exempt leadership team on utilization of labor management systems and standards.

Assist management and engineering with Site layout.

Monitoring space needs consolidating when possible. [/p][p]Continuous Improvement Root cause analysis including observations, developing recommendations, and implementing improvement opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Develop, identify ROI, present, and implement cost saving opportunities through key LEAN, Six Sigma principles, Poka-Yoke, 8 wastes, etc.

Provide CI support to operations managers, floor associates other departments.

Perform IE time studies, VSM to optimize labor.

Provide summary reports for leadership review.

Use communications skills to clearly present supply chain options and costs to the customer. Data Analytics & Data Mining Develop different 'what-if' models using customer data from SAP or other systems

Data mining to understand key opportunities in the relationship to safety, quality, and productivity within the operations.

Present data findings to operations team in a way that can be interpreted and actioned.

Report out trends to operations and leadership levels.

Create reporting dashboards for internal and external customers.

Support customer ad-hoc reporting requests Project Management Develop project plans and action items to support key company initiatives.

Assist internal teams with project delivery timelines and follow ups.

Coordinate communications between the customer and internal resources. [/p][p]Performs Additional Responsibilities As Assigned #LI-KM1Knowledge of distribution processes including the development and implementation of methods, process steps, and standard operating procedures.



Knowledge of distribution operations including building setup, labor planning, slotting optimization, etc.



Knowledge of work measurement disciplines including engineering labor standards, time study, methods time measurement, master standard data, etc.



Knowledge of labor management systems and tracking (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, etc.)Lead change management processes with ability to translate recommendations into clear and precise functional requirements.



Strong analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skillsPerform advanced analysis including process mapping, simulation, statistical modeling, and process re-engineering, data analytics.



Knowledge of distribution process improvement methodologies (lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.)Strong influencing skills with internal stakeholdersAbility to handle confrontational situations in a mature and professional manner.



Highly proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational and project management skills.



Strong communication skills within all tiers of the organizationExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills WORK EXPERIENCE and/or

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field required. 2-3 years of warehouse experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.



Ability to travel up to 75%
