PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER - THOMASTON, GA
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a talented Process Improvement Engineer in Thomaston, GA. In this impactful and rewarding role, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes, reducing waste and costs, increasing productivity, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and helping drive continuous improvement throughout the facility. - Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency.
- Lead and support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Analyze engineering and production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support new product development, new technologies, equipment installation, and plant layout projects.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and other teams to implement process improvements.
- Help reduce waste, improve throughput, and optimize manufacturing operations.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Manufacturing or textile manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Pareto Analysis, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate findings into practical process improvements.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
