Job Description

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for managing auditing schedules, overseeing 30 indirect reports including 2 supervisors, and handling both domestic and international suppliers. The role involves maintaining all electronic databases and making cultural changes to enhance team development and client relations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage 30 indirect reports with 2 supervisors. Handle auditing schedules and manage auditors. Work with over 1,000 domestic and international suppliers. Maintain all electronic databases. Qualifications BS Degree is required. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management and 3+ years in management. Industry experience with Med Device ISO 13485, with the ability to adjust to different regulations as needed. High proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. Strong team development skills to drive cultural changes. Ability to communicate effectively with clients to build trust in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written communication skills for audit interpretation. Formal Quality certification (CSQP, CQE, CQM) preferred. Expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) preferred. Experience 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management. 3+ years in management roles. Skills High computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. Team development and client relationship-building skills. Effective communication and writing skills for audits.
