With fully integrated capabilities that include fabrication, finishing, coating, painting, and final assembly, they maintain exceptional control over product quality and operational efficiency. Located near Midway Airport, the facility is experiencing continued growth and is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support new product launches, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive operational excellence. Job Description Champion and support productivity enhancement initiatives and the adoption of operational best practices across the business. Lead and coordinate capital improvement and equipment installation projects, including project planning, scheduling, and documentation. Collaborate with Manufacturing teams on continuous improvement efforts, Lean initiatives, process optimization, and root cause problem-solving activities. Develop project estimates and cost analyses for electrical projects, maintain project schedules using Gantt charts, and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved. Create and maintain electrical schematics, technical documentation, and troubleshooting resources to support skilled trades personnel. Lead the deployment, enhancement, and ongoing development of the SCADA system throughout the facility. Actively participate in and lead continuous improvement programs focused on operational excellence and efficiency gains. Support the maintenance and reliability of the plant's electrical systems and infrastructure. Ensure all electrical equipment and installations comply with applicable safety standards, regulations, and codes. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to Electrical Technicians and Electricians during equipment and process issues. Evaluate manufacturing requirements and recommend improvements to equipment, materials, methods, and facility layouts to increase productivity and efficiency. The Successful Applicant 7-10+ years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering experience, in an industrial environment B.S in Engineering strongly preferred, electrical or mechanical a plus Experience with
ROCKWELL PLC
