Job Description
Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to analyze and improve manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and production efficiency. This role focuses on evaluating production methods, optimizing manpower and materials, and maintaining quality systems to ensure products meet both company and customer standards. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.Roles & Responsibilities:
Conduct process analysis to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and profitability. Evaluate production methods, equipment layout, and material handling to optimize plant operations. Develop and maintain continuous improvement programs for manufacturing processes. Recommend and implement capital equipment additions, replacements, and tooling such as jigs and fixtures. Maintain supporting data for manufacturing and inventory control systems, including work centers, production routings, work standards, lead times, and queue times. Review customer contract quality requirements and ensure company compliance with those standards. Assist in developing quality processes and procedures based on specific customer requirements. Coordinate manufacturing, industrial, and quality practices with other departments. Develop CNC programs for various CNC machines using manual methods as well as programming and nesting software. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with related responsibilities. Experience in manufacturing process improvement, quality systems, and production planning. Knowledge of CNC programming and manufacturing software tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process optimization skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Physical Requirements:
Occasional bending and twisting. Ability to lift 10-20 pounds regularly, with occasional heavier lifting.Additional Information:
Work must be completed in a timely manner while maintaining established quality standards and company policies. The role requires supporting company objectives, meeting operational goals, and contributing as an effective team member.
