Job Description
Supplier Quality & Continuous Improvement Specialist Whiteland, IN (100% Onsite) Work Schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST Overtime may be required Travel Requirement Travel to Bloomfield, Connecticut required during the first month Approximately 1-2 weeks All travel expenses covered Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Supplier Quality & Continuous Improvement Specialist to support quality execution and operational excellence within a 3PL warehouse and distribution environment. This position works closely with warehouse operations, suppliers, quality teams, and operational stakeholders to improve supplier performance, reduce defects and damages, strengthen order accuracy, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be highly involved in day-to-day warehouse activities, driving continuous improvement through root cause analysis, KPI monitoring, corrective actions, supplier collaboration, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities Partner with warehouse operations teams to identify, analyze, and resolve supplier-related quality issues. Investigate product defects, damages, receiving errors, shipping discrepancies, and customer complaints. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Monitor and improve supplier quality performance, order accuracy, damage rates, returns, claims, and OTIF performance. Develop and maintain quality scorecards, dashboards, KPI reports, and visual management systems. Support Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and audit readiness. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Facilitate Kaizen activities and process improvement projects. Work cross-functionally with warehouse operations, quality teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive sustainable process improvements. Promote accountability and operational excellence through data-driven decision making. Pay:
