com/us/ Your challenge Start strong:
For each new part, shape the supplier quality plan, assess risks, and steer APQP through to PPAP sign‑off. Join project meetings, engineering reviews, and pilots to protect quality from design through ramp‑up.
Build capability:
Evaluate and onboard suppliers with Sourcing; run rigorous supplier quality audits; coach teams on our standards; and drive sustainable corrective actions. Resolve fast, learn faster: Lead disposition of nonconforming material and cost recovery, coordinate with Quality Control on classification/escalation, and confirm 8D fixes stick.

Report PPM and issue analytics to the Global Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) Manager for action and alignment.
Improve by design:
Flag quality risks early and collaborate with design engineering to increase manufacturability and robustness. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years in manufacturing or purchasing with supplier quality accountability. Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing is highly valued. Depth in auditing and quality management systems. Comfort with measurement systems, assembly methods, and interpreting mechanical drawings. MS Office proficiency; adept with quality control software and data analysis. Root cause and corrective action expertise (5 Whys, 8D) and a continuous improvement mindset. Where and how you'll work Based in Olathe, KS with exposure to diverse manufacturing environments. ~20% travel, primarily local/domestic within a three‑hour radius. Rewards Competitive salary.
