- Olathe, KS The primary responsibility is process improvement, utilizing lean techniques to standardize and simplify processes, ultimately delivering value in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Dedicate majority of time (60- 80%) on the shop floor (Gemba) in assigned process path(s) Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities Utilize lean techniques to standardize and simplify processes, ensuring efficient and effective operations Learn/Utilize lean tools & techniques such as standardization, problem solving, people engagement, leadership soft-skills, one-piece flow, Kanban/pull systems, continuous improvement, value stream mapping, visual management, error proofing, 5S, training, etc.
Succeed:
Education:
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in a related discipline, preferably Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/etc.), Supply Chain or related field.Experience:
Bachelor's Degree student- Junior or Sophomore Strong interest in process improvement and lean methodologies Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Why Work for Us?
