Job Summary
In this role you will contribute to interface with the suppliers for operational activities and contract management activities, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions.
You will assess suppliers during the tendering phase and contribute to the selection decision.
Once selected, you will manage supply chain & quality aspects of the contract by being responsible for On Time, On Quality (and on Cost when applicable) performance.
You will also manage supplier quality Approval/Authorization to ensure that suppliers are compliant with certifications required in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
You are responsible to give feedback on detected non- conformities to all stakeholders. In particular you will monitor or support new product introduction to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase.
Furthermore, you will monitor suppliers' capability and capacity in order to assess their capability related risks not to fulfil the On Time, On Quality (and on Cost when applicable) performance.
You will also identify that supplier development needs ensure that suppliers have the required capacity, capability & performance, and launching if not the required short term recovery plans.
Moreover, you will initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects, set long term development targets and contribute to the annual Supplier Evaluation Development (SED).
Finally you will present supplier status regarding operational performance (KPIs, assessments..) at MFT (Multi-functional Team)/MDT (Multi-development Team) meetings and maintain close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer levels to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured products/services.
