Currently we have a Production Engineer role open on 1 st shift. The Production Engineer will provide engineering support for ongoing and new operations. Essential functions of the position include: Uses and promotes Lean Manufacturing methods Designs methods and machines for maintaining or increasing production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality and safety Trains operators in correct process, software, equipment, tooling, and/or fixture use Investigates and initiates Design Engineering change requests. Participates in design reviews of new products or major revisions to guide Design Engineering towards a best solution. Facilities implementation of design changes Develops and updates process procedures to ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and follows Link-Belt standards Troubleshoots process problems and identifies solutions which reduce downtime and minimizes maintenance costs Assist Manufacturing in troubleshooting problems with manufactured product Analyzes marketing and economic conditions and relates these factors to future manufacturing requirements Monitors process equipment to identify potential errors and develops solutions to eliminate the occurrence or reoccurrence of problems Performs Project Management as assigned Provides technical information for cost estimating and cost reduction Performs engineering calculations to validate production related designs General qualifications for this role: Four year college degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of two (2) years' related work experience •Link-Belt Cranes does not accept unsolicited resumes or calls from third-party recruiters or employment agencies•
