Job Responsibilities and Requirements Potential Responsibilities As an engineering intern, you will take ownership of meaningful projects that may involve: Conducting time studies and analyzing workflows to identify opportunities for improvement Evaluating space utilization and developing efficient workspace or facility layouts Supporting process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data and developing reports to inform recommendations and decisions Developing digital tools to aid in process improvement Mapping current processes and developing improved process flows Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost Preparing technical documentation, procedures, and manuals Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to implement solutions Managing assigned projects from initial analysis through recommendation and implementation Requirements Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Plastics Engineering, or a related field Strong academic record Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment Self-managed, dependable, and motivated to take ownership of assignments Preferred Qualifications Experience with data analysis, process mapping, or continuous improvement methodologies Demonstrated leadership through academic projects, student organizations, clubs, or other activities Experience with CAD or facility-layout software Experience in a manufacturing or production environment Share it:
