Rapiscan Systems, designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities. The Product Management Intern will support initiatives related to enhancing the user experience for Rapiscan products. This role will be responsible for assisting in the development, evaluation, and improvement of customer‑facing documentation and packaging‑related processes. The intern will collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure that packaging materials and associated instructions meet quality, usability, and brand standards. Responsibilities Assist in the assessment and refinement of packaging materials, instructions, and user touchpoints. Develop and update customer documentation, including Quick Start Guides, Troubleshooting Guides, and Best Practices materials. Gather and consolidate information from Engineering, Design, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness. Review customer feedback and product performance data to identify areas for improvement related to packaging and user experience. Support the creation, testing, and validation of packaging concepts and revisions. Participate in cross‑functional meetings and contribute to product planning and continuous improvement activities. Maintain organized documentation and version control for all assigned materials. Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Qualifications Must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor or Master of Science degree program in Business, Packaging Engineering Product Management, Industrial Design, Technical Communications, or a related field. Must be able to commit to 10-12 weeks starting in May or June 2026. Must reside within a daily commuting distance throughout Co-op Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear, user‑friendly content. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Interest in product management, packaging design, user experience, or technical communication. Familiarity with documentation or design tools is beneficial but not required. The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations. Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
