Job Description

Industrial Process Engineer Job ref: TB61 We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Process Engineer on behalf of our client based in Braintree, Essex.
Responsibilities include:
  • Leading the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, production flows and information flows across the site, while ensuring industrial methods remain effective, controlled and aligned to operational needs.
  • Acting as the key link between manufacturing, quality and R D/PLM to support product and process industrialisation, validate feasibility and improve site performance against quality, cost, delivery and safety objectives.
Requirements include:
  • Minimum of five years' relevant experience in manufacturing, process engineering or industrial engineering.
  • Experience in process development, process validation, statistical process control and quality control requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of continuous improvement principles, including 5S and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Technical capability in CAD or technical drawing packages, CNC-related environments and advanced IT systems.
  • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external suppliers.
  • Hands-on, systematic and results-focused approach, with the ability to prioritise, implement ideas and perform under pressure.
  • Knowledge of technical drawing packages, including CAD, Laser, 3D Printers, and CNC machines
Desirable:
  • Experience in robotics, PLC programming and technical data presentation.
