03/09/2026 Industrial Placement Chemical Engineering Students Milton Hill, Oxfordshire | £24,785 per annum Kick- start your career with a placement at Infineum, a world leading formulator, manufacturer and marketer of additives for fuels and lubricants. Infineum additives are in 1 in 3 vehicles worldwide , and are designed to improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions and enable cleaner transportations . This 12-month placement offers Chemical Engineering undergraduates the opportunity to work in our Manufacturing Technology team or Technology Applications and Services team based at our Global Headquarters at Milton Hill in Oxfordshire. You will work in multi-functional teams on projects in areas such as: Process development and scale-up Plant troubleshooting and support Process improvement to reduce cost and waste, increase capacity or improve product quality Safety management systems You will gain valuable knowledge and expertise in: The challenges associated with translating processes from the lab through to commercial production Understanding and addressing the challenges in real live plant issues Reactive chemistry and process engineering Working in a best practice global organisation; working with different functions, across time zones, distance and cultures, problem solving and decision making Placements begin in July 2027.
