• $135,000/yrHydrasearch is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to lead the development, stabilization, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing methods.

This role is responsible for the "how" of our production-taking complex engineering designs and turning them into repeatable, high-quality manufacturing plans.

As a senior member of the team, you will own the Product Structure (BOMs & Routers), drive Root Cause Investigations, and lead the integration of new equipment and product lines. This is a high-visibility role requiring a blend of technical mastery in machining/assembly and the leadership skills to mentor cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

• Compliance and Standards:

  Ensure adnce to company, industry, and safety standards, including familiarity with quality systems like AS9100 (preferred)

• FAI and PPAP:

  Lead and coordinate the execution of FAIs and PPAPs, ensuring timely completion, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and customer requirements

• Operational Support:

  Provide engineering support to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations

• Troubleshooting:

  Diagnose and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations

• Process Improvement:

  Identify and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality

• Vendor Support:

  Review, evaluate, and approve vendor samples, ensuring they meet technical specifications and quality standards before incorporation into production

• Quality Support:

  Partner with quality assurance teams to monitor product quality and assist in identifying and resolving quality-related issues in production processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)

• Experience:

  4+ years in a production engineering role, specifically supporting machining, metal fabrication, welding, or mechanical assembly

• Systems Mastery:

  Strong experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage product structures and a deep understanding of engineering drawings/GD&T.Preferred Qualifications

Quality Frameworks:

Experience in AS9100 or

ISO 9001

regulated environments

• Advanced Quality Tools:

  Familiarity with PPAP, FMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Project Management:

Ability to manage multiple process-improvement initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
