Process Engineer - Advance Your Career with an
Industry Leader Pay Rate:
$70,000-$75,000/yearSchedule:
Onsite, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30PM Assignment Length:
Direct-Hire We're hiring a Process Engineer for our client in Sanford! This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry pioneer offering outstanding benefits starting day one and long-term career growth. This position pays $70-75K and is a direct-hire placement . This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll directly impact manufacturing processes, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and work cross-functionally to optimize production and quality. Apply today!Typical Daily Duties:
- Develop work instructions, visual aids, and process documentation to maintain production and quality standards
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (5S, SMED, value stream mapping, etc.)
- Analyze workflows, perform time studies, and provide cost and efficiency improvements
- Assist with equipment setup, installation, and process validation
- Train supervisors and team members on new processes or product changes
- Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with plant standards
- Maintain production data, routings, and Bills of Operations
- Coordinate TPM and preventive maintenance activities
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in a process engineering or process improvement role within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
- Hands-on, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across all levels
