Long-Term Temp Manpower is partnering with a highly respected client in the medical and life‑science space to hire a Supplier Development Quality Engineer for an assignment in Scarborough, Maine. This position offers competitive pay at $44.68/hour and a long-term temporary assignment supporting cutting‑edge, life‑changing health technology. This is a detail‑driven, execution‑focused quality role ideal for a QA or Regulatory professional who enjoys working hands‑on with documentation, compliance, and supplier qualification activities in a regulated environment. - Support supplier selection, evaluation, and material qualification activities
- Perform receiving inspection and part qualification support
- Maintain and manage controlled documentation (SOPs, work instructions, specifications)
- Support IVDR compliance activities, including documentation readiness
- Assist with change control activities (CNs, ECOs, deviations, CAPAs)
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Suppliers What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's in Engineering or related field & 2-4 years in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or related experience
- IVDR, IVD, or
ISO 13485
regulatory experience (direct IVDR orISO 13485
strongly preferred)- Strong attention to detail and comfort with compliance‑heavy, administrative work
- Experience supporting change control processes and quality documentation
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a regulated manufacturing environment
Strongly Preferred:
- Part, supplier, or process qualification support experience
- eQMS experience (Agile, TrackWise, Veeva, MasterControl, EtQ)
- Microsoft Excel proficiency for trackers and reporting
